Kwame leads the Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance Services Unit at KPMG in Ghana. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Global Management Accountant. He holds an Executive MBA from the Penn State University, Smeal School of Business and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration - Accounting from Temple University - Fox School of Business & Management. Kwame joined KPMG Ghana in 2012, after spending over 11 years working for Deloitte and KPMG in the United States of America.
In his role, he assists global clients to understand the risks that their businesses face and how these need to be controlled to generate return in a sustainable manner through the assessment, design and implementation of Enterprise Risk Management, Governance, Risk & Compliance, internal control and Internal Audit frameworks . Kwame has worked across various industries including Financial Services, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Construction, Oil & Gas, Telecommunication and the Public Sector. Kwame is a lead facilitator in the KPMG Business School, he designs and facilitates training across various disciplines.
